Most tools promise not to misuse your data. Wispr Notes is built so there is no data to misuse: transcription and note-making run on your hardware, and the app works with the network cable unplugged.
What never leaves your machine — on any tier
Microphone and system audio. Transcripts. Your typed fragments and generated notes. Your personal dictionary. Everything lives in one folder on your disk, in open formats, and you can reveal it from Settings.
What Free and Plus send
Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, so we know what to fix. A random install ID, app version, OS, feature counters (e.g. "dictation used 12 times"), and stack traces on crash. No content, no keystrokes, no audio — ever.

What Pro sends
Nothing. Analytics and crash reporting are removed from the running app, not just switched off. Watch the network monitor — there is no traffic to see. A perpetual one-time license — $65 on the launch offer, $99 regular.
One sign-in, nothing more
You sign in once to activate your plan. The account holds your email and license — it is never linked to your recordings, transcripts or notes, because those never reach us.
